Cool Details

Details are what make cars cool.  Just look at a Pagoni Zonda!  A bit over the top for me, but I love to see that Italian automotive passion on display.  Whether its a vent with a screen behind it, or a drilled out hood hinge, details make the car.  In each area of the car; body, interior, engine, transaxle, suspension, brakes or wheels and tires, something cool can be done to set the car apart from all others in that area.  It's what makes the car yours.  The attention to detail, in all areas, is what makes the great custom cars, great.

993 right rear corner.  Vented and screened sides with aluminum bumper shields

Below, IMHO one of the coolest mods: shaving the rain gutters.
This is especially cool with the much flusher pop out rear windows.
Alright, I'll stop showing pictures of my car.

911 R tail light covers and lights with three-pipe rally muffler.

Chopped lower front fender with vent behind wheel.
Above and below:  Ruf front spoiler on factory 930 slant nose.
                                                        Factory Slant rear brake vents.

993 Supercup rocker spats.
Cool white  marker lights above Supercup lower lip

                                                       Don't forget 935 mirrors!!
Can't see out of 'em?  "What is behind me doesn't matter!"

Cool Details:
For the body: Starting up front and moving back you can have, a nice carbon fiber or thin aluminum splitter, carbon fiber dive planes, fender vents, custom rocker panels, shaved rain gutters and door handles, did I say roof scoops, chopped tops, mirrors, rear fender vents, banana wings, ducktails, spoilers, carbon fiber air foils, active wings, and finally rear bumper venting and louvering.  It's enough to make you dizzy, especially all in one sentence.  The right combination, with the right paint, and maybe some subtle, or not so subtle graphics will make each car unique.  There are 50 years of factory parts to choose from, not to mention the hundreds of aftermarket Porsche body part suppliers.
