Progress

It's been a while, but as the body and engine work proceed, the final engine specs, body color and details are being decided.  The color, on the project 964, will be Porsche Speedway Green.  It will look like a 2.8 RSR.  The bodywork is the DP-Motorsport carbon fiber and Kevlar 964 conversion package.  The pieces being replaced are the front bumper, the hood, both front fenders, the rear flairs, the duck tail and the rear bumper.  The steel doors will remain for the solid feel and quality closing as well as the safety.
The engine will be a 4.1 liter.  4095 cc.  This will be a 102.7 mm bore and an 82.4 mm stroke.  About 10.4:1 compression ratio with the new Xtreme heads, longer-than-stock, steel, Pauter connecting rods and new Mahle billet pistons inCapricorn cylinders will sit on a brand new 964 crankcase.  A new custom cross-drilled crankshaft and GT3 oil pump top off the list of ALL new critical components.  A broad 430+hp and 325+ lb/ft, along with an easy 7500 rpm redline, will easily push the under-2400- pound-car hard, with a limited-slip 964 G50 gearbox, with billet, heim-jointed shift linkage.
The suspension will be JRZ adjustable, coil-overs.  OE ABS brakes will be used.  Fuchs 15" wheels will be built by Weidmans  Wheels
The interior will be very lightweight leather and alcantara, in black and gray with contrasting green stitching.
Price?  Around $225,000.  Options: air-conditioning and radio can still be changed for a little while.
